NAI Earle Furman announced Dec. 6 Upstate Corporate Park, a multi-county development, has broken ground on its 1.2 million-square-foot industrial building in Cowpens.
The project, which NAI Earle Furman will manage the development of and handle its leasing, is situated on a 106-acre site off Mount Olive Road, across from Dollar Tree’s Southeast Distribution Center. The Class A building’s features include:
- 40’ minimum clear height
- 50’ x 56’ column spacing
- 70’ speed bays
- 200’ truck court with trailer parking
“The Upstate Industrial Market has seen unprecedented growth over the last few years, both in the manufacturing and warehouse/distribution sectors,” said NAI Earle Furman Shareholder and Broker Clay Williams. “As the Southeast remains the fastest-growing region in the Country, there is a continuous need for sites that accommodate bulk warehouse/distribution facilities along the I-85 corridor. We are excited about the design and functionality of the first building within Upstate Corporate Park and its ability to serve the need of some of the most sophisticated logistics/warehouse operators.”
The development is expected to be complete in early 2024.
