The first ECHO Suites Extended Stay by Wyndham in the country opens in Spartanburg June 29 with additional openings in Texas and Virginia expected to follow later this year.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening is scheduled July 10 at the 490 W. Blackstock Road location.
The brand-new construction of the extended stay brand features suites offering essentials from kitchens with cooktops and full-size refrigerators to free wi-fi. Full-service laundry facilities and an exercise room are also standard amenities.
According to the company, the new concept is designed to offer extended stay accommodations to the contractors, construction crews and others engaged in the billions of dollars of infrastructure projects and other development in economic hubs like South Carolina.
