Colliers announced Oct. 7 CRG, a developer that has completed and leased more than 2.7 million square feet in the Greenville-Spartanburg market, has purchased a new industrial development park in Spartanburg County, The Cubes at Fort Prince, for an undisclosed amount.
Located at 1460 Fort Prince Blvd. in Spartanburg, the development spans 186 acres and will consist of three proposed speculative buildings which together represent 2.35 million square feet of potential industrial construction.
CRG plans to break the construction of the development’s largest structure Building A, which will consist of 1.5 million square feet, into two phases.
In addition, each building will include features such as:
- 40-foot clear heights
- Cross-dock orientation
- On-site trailer parking
Initial site work has already started on Phase I of Building A. The site work is expected to conclude at the end of 2021 and the developer anticipates the first building will be ready for a tenant to move into by Q2 2022.
CRG also holds several land positions near the Inland Port for future speculative and build-to-suit projects including The Cubes at Inland Woods, a 467,200-square-foot spec industrial building on Woods Chapel Road in Greer expected to break ground late 2021.
