Attention shoppers, Haywood Mall’s retail roster is growing again. The shopping center on Haywood Road announced July 25 it will welcome two new stores:
- Tradehome Shoes
- MINISO, which household and consumer goods including cosmetics, stationery, toys and kitchenware.
Tradehome Shoes will occupy the former Lady’s Footlocker store on the mall’s upper level. The store is slated to open in late 2023.
MINISO will occupy a portion of the Victoria’s Secret’s space on the mall’s lower level. The retailer is expected to open in early 2024.
Other new additions already announced include two restaurants and one store:
- Mochimee — a new restaurant concept.
- Garage — a young women’s clothing store.
- Texas de Brazil Churrascaria — a Brazilian steakhouse brand.
Mochimee was expected to open in April, but has experienced construction delays, a Haywood Mall representative said. The business, which will occupy the former Koi Asian Bistro space at the entrance of the mall’s food court, has not announced a new opening date.
Garage will occupy a space beside Macy’s on Haywood Mall’s upper level. The store is slated to open in early August.
Coming in late 2023 is Texas de Brazil. The restaurant will occupy the former Saltwater Kitchen location and serve a variety of seasoned meat cooked over a wood charcoal fire, including beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage. The eatery will also offer a 50-item salad bar and wine list, as well as a la carte dessert selections.
While Haywood Mall has several stores and eateries on the way, Mrs. Fields is no longer planning to join the shopping center’s roster. The gourmet, fresh-baked cookie shop was slated to open in fall 2023.
