Industrial service provider Integrated Power Services (IPS) recently acquired Precision Electric Motor Works Inc. Since 2008, this is the eighth acquisition for the Greenville-based company.
This move allows IPS to expand its operations into the Northeast with the addition of a Clifton, New Jersey, full-service repair facility. The company has 30 service center and field offices across North America.
“This acquisition is an important step for IPS as we continue expanding to better serve our customer base,” said IPS president and CEO John Zuleger. “We were impressed with Precision’s people, their values and capabilities, and look forward to integrating them with our service offering coast to coast. We continue to execute on our strategic plan to diversify, strengthen and grow our business, providing our customers with safety, quality, service and value.”
IPS previously acquired Electro-Mec, The Monarch Electric Group, TRICO TCWIND, Industrial Apparatus Service, KVA Dynamo/B+B Dynamo & Armature/King’s Electric Motors, the Industrial Repair Division of Higgins Electric, Inc. and Excel Apparatus Services Inc.
