The city of Greenville selected the Heirloom Companies of Campobello, South Carolina to create and fabricate key wood and metal features for the Unity Park project.
The 64-acre park, which is expected to be completed in 2022, will include bridges over a widened Reedy River, water features, a playground, walking and bike paths, and an observation tower.
“Creating Unity Park is a huge step forward for Greenville’s community vision,” said the Heirloom Companies COO Ben Mosely. “So, everyone here is thrilled and honored to be a part of helping transform and beautify this area into a sprawling open space with something for everyone – complete with plenty of room to play sports, bike or walk the expanded Swamp Rabbit Trail, explore the visitors center and so much more. We’re confident that our products will complement and enhance the beauty of Greenville’s future crown jewel.”
The company previously created the Brown Street sign in downtown Greenville and the Cancer Survivor Park monument.
