Fast-casual Mediterranean eatery Parsley & Mint (600 S. Main St.) is reopening after a short hiatus. It will return as a full-service bar and restaurant with a new concept that elevates its focus on fresh and locally sourced ingredients.
Fans of the restaurant’s original fast-casual setup, which specializes in wraps, salads and bowls, need not worry – Parsley & Mint will operate as usual from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. most days.
But now bar service will begin at 2:30 p.m., with dinner served from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on weekdays and until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Weekend brunch will also be offered from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
“Inspired by Mediterranean culture, Parsley & Mint is designed to provide fresh and delicious food.” – Paul Ryll, Parsley & Mint executive chef and owner
The new dinner menu, from owner and executive chef Paul Ryll, remains entrenched in Mediterranean ingredients and techniques, including a strip sirloin served with romesco sauce and red onion relish, Mediterranean citrus spiced chicken wings, and pork chops served with grilled dates, roasted red pepper jelly and pickled red cabbage.
Craft cocktails aim to put a Mediterranean twist on classics, such as a pomegranate old fashioned and a basil-cucumber mojito. The bar will also be serving bar foods and snacks, including harissa spiced cracker jacks, Mediterranean hot dogs, and house-made hummus with spreads.
