New South Construction Supply LLC, a concrete and masonry construction products distributor based in Greenville, announced Nov. 14 it has acquired Malone Steel Corporation of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, for an undisclosed sum.
Malone Steel will operate as New South Construction Supply – Ponte Vedra and the company’s president Jeff Malone will continue to oversee its day-to-day operations.
“When we decided to sell our business, we were committed to finding a partner with the right culture, and one that was committed to taking care of our customers, as well as our employees,” said Malone. “Once we met the New South team, it was clear that they were the perfect fit for us.”
New South Construction Supply has branches in West Columbia, Charleston, Myrtle Beach and Hardeeville, South Carolina; Charlotte, Greensboro and Garner, North Carolina; Atlanta, Georgia; and Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
