A proposed 153-unit apartment building located adjacent to Unity Park is on the agenda for January’s Design Review Board (DRB) Urban Panel. According to the plans submitted by Red Fox Development, the project would be located at 141 Westfield St. and 375 W Broad, just a short walk from Unity Park.
Units within the proposed development will range from 500-square feet studio apartments to 1,300-square-feet two-bedroom apartments.
The project has been in the works for 10 months, according to the application, with applicant Adam Peters of Red Fox working informally with city staff, engineering team and fire marshal before formally submitting the plans to the DRB. Included with the apartment building would be a parking garage as well, with plans to include “a little over one space per unit,” according to the application.

- Roof terrace with 180-degree views for residents
Red Fox Development will be completing the project with MV+A to oversee the architecture, civil engineering from SeamonWhiteside, and the private equity real estate firm Gordon Road Capital.
The board will review the project on Thursday, Jan. 5.
