Veteran One gives former service members new paths forward
Former serviceman Tyler Warren believes veterans have the opportunity to use their unrivaled leadership capabilities and other hard-won skills in a new way: within corporate America.
That’s exactly why he partnered with veteran Neil Johnson to establish Veteran One, a local tech company that helps those who have served our country discover meaning and purpose in places they may never have thought to look. Recently, the platform has seen a remarkable level of growth, and Warren doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon. With plenty of exciting new ventures on the horizon, he’s doubling down on his commitment to serve the Veteran One community of 18 million.
“Since 2018, every day has been a chance for our team to serve veterans better. We’re always learning from the people we help get hired — and the companies that hire them too,” Warren said.
Speeding up the hiring process and cutting costs, Veteran One also provides employers with unlimited access to things like real-time alerts, videoconferencing, in-app chatting and beyond.
“Our talent pool is filled with men and women who have already been pre-screened and vetted by our system, so employers know they’re getting access to top-notch individuals,” Warren said.
So much more than just a head-hunting company, Veteran One is an ever-evolving, ever-growing resource designed to show veterans just how much they have to offer the world — and truly empower them to act.
“Our platform is free to veterans, each of whom must build their own profile and take an assessment before being matched with employers, because we want them to be inspired to utilize our services and also motivated to get the most out of it,” said Warren, who has never been interested in just filling seats and checking boxes.
Rather, Warren is on a mission to ensure the men and women who work with Veteran One find perfect-for-them careers.

“Veterans often come to us worried about the next chapter,” he said. “Our goal at Veteran One is to help them feel confident moving forward.”
Warren and his team accomplish that by providing veterans with free personality and aptitude testing.
“As we continue to grow, we’ll continue serving both veterans in search of new roles and employers in search of great talent,” Warren said.
How?
You can expect to see Veteran One deliver a job-posting, job-search function, turning the platform into the Indeed of veteran job searches.

“Since 2018, every day has been a chance for our team to serve veterans better. We’re always learning from the people we help get hired — and the companies that hire them, too.” — Tyler Warren
