Banker Exchange LLC, a real estate consultant based in Greenville, has opened an office in Basalt, Colorado.
The location, which will be led by Banker Exchange Founder and CEO John Boyd, will serve the Aspen and Snowmass resort areas, as well as the Roaring Fork Valley and I-70 corridor from Vail to Grand Junction.
“Investors’ closest options were Denver, California, or their title company underwriter from who knows where,” said Boyd. “People are content ordering merchandise online from Amazon, but when it comes to their money and investments, I believe they want the ability to meet in person to discuss their thoughts and concerns. That’s the void we hope to fill.”
Banker Exchange offers services that may allow clients to upgrade, consolidate, diversify or relocate investment or business assets by working with Internal Revenue Code Section 1031 transactions, which provide a way for property owners to sell a certain holding and replace it with a similar new property without paying taxes on the sale.
These transactions include:
- Tax-deferred exchanges
- 1031 exchanges
- Like-kind exchanges
In addition to the Colorado office, Banker Exchange has offices in Greenville and Charleston, South Carolina; and Charlotte and Pilot Mountain, North Carolina.
