Several new tenants are coming to a historic neighborhood market center undergoing renovations on Spartanburg’s resurgent Eastside not far from the new Spartanburg High School.
W Square is a 26,500-square-foot shopping center at 2601 E. Main St. formerly known as Webber Square. Kairos Development is in the middle of giving the property a major facelift, and Greenville-based Pintail Capital, which is handling leasing, announced the addition of several new tenants.
Expected to open later this summer, the new tenants are:
- Burrito Hub — fresh Mexican-inspired cuisine
- Thai Basil — Thai restaurant embracing authentic recipes
- Milltown Coffee — gourmet coffee, teas and snacks
- The Beerded Cork Taproom — taproom designed to be a family and pet friendly gathering space
According to Pintail’s Josh Tew, upcoming renovations will include a central outdoor gathering space with plenty of intimate seating in a family-friendly atmosphere.
Pintail is working with existing tenants to assess their needs as renovations continue, but Tew says spaces ranging from 1,000 to 4,000 square feet will be available for lease.
Tew says the area immediately surrounding the property is in the middle of a building boom as more than 3,000 new residential units are under development.
