Holiday Haywood Estates, a Holiday by Atria independent living community for seniors, announced April 14 it has kicked off a $1.5 million renovation project.
Located on Haywood Road in Greenville, the property’s upgrades will include a fitness room expansion as well as renovations to:
- Game lounge
- Living room with library
- Atrium
- Dining room
The community will also receive other improvements such as:
- A/V capabilities in all common areas
- Exterior enhancements
- Energy-efficient lighting
In each apartment, Holiday Haywood Estates will complete renovations, including:
- Adding new lighting
- Installing luxury vinyl tile flooring
- Upfitting kitchenettes with new cabinets, sinks and counters
- Upgrading bathrooms
“For us, this will feel like an ‘extreme makeover’ to create new and enhanced ways for our residents to stay active, build new friendships and enjoy what inspires them,” said Holiday Haywood Estates Assistant General Manager Randy Rose. “We know that living in a vibrant, social community like ours can translate to greater well-being in older adults.”
