Family Trust Federal Credit Union recently expanded into Greenville County.
A ribbon cutting for the new Greenville branch at 1800 Laurens Road was held March 21.
The credit union provides a range of financial services including personal checking, savings, investments, mortgages, auto loans and more. Family Trust opened its first branch in Rock Hill in 1947. Ryan Harvey, president and CEO of Family Trust, said Family Trust has established itself as a leader within York County for the last six decades.
“After careful research, we identified Greenville as an ideal place to grow, mainly because we knew we could combine our values of care, trust and excellence and take that same members-first approach to Greenville County residents,” Harvey said.
Harvey said the Greenville expansion is an opportunity for the credit union to serve a new community and help neighbors build secure futures. With the Greenville branch, the Family Trust now operates eight locations across South Carolina and serves over 55,000 members.
Family Trust partnered with Harvest Hope, a local food bank, to collect donations during its week-long grand opening in March. The credit union is also working with local artists from the Greenville Center for Creative Arts to create a mural inspired by Greenville and Family Trust.
