It has been exactly a year since COVID-19 shut down most of the country. Throughout 2020 we saw thousands of small businesses close and never reopen. Details and Dents was almost one of them. Only four days before our grand opening in 2020, Gov. Henry McMaster filed an executive order closing all nonessential businesses.
Chase Clark saw his dreams slowly disappearing in front of him. He had poured his life savings into building an amazing, one-of-a-kind shop. A place where people wanted to bring their vehicles. A business where communication, professionalism and honesty are the keys to our success. They had more than two months of appointments canceled and never rescheduled. People were reluctant to go out and risk their lives because of COVID-19. No amount of planning could have prepared us for a global pandemic and government mandated shutdown.
Now exactly a year later, he is proud to say we made it! He said he is very fortunate that his employee’s hard work and dedication carried them through such dark times. They said are not out of the woods yet as they have to make up for what the company missed due to the pandemic; but they see the light. Businesses are opening up, the phone is ringing more and we are scheduling more appointments daily!
