An 80,000 square-foot site once home to a Samsung call center in Mauldin is set to become a charter school with plans to be open by the 2022-23 school year. The site will have the space to serve up to 1,100 students, according to an announcement from SVN|BlackStream.
SVN|BlackStream advisor Shannon Donahoo represented the buyers.
The location, 356 Centerpointe Boulevard, is across Holland Road from the $150 million Bridgeway Station project led by Hughes Investments, Inc. that, in 2021 alone, has welcomed ABB’s Dodge Bearings and Power Transmission and Cohesive Coffee.
The name of the charter school that bought the 14 acre-property, which has a fair market value of $9.8 million according to county tax records, has not been disclosed.
