The ever-expanding Judson Mill District west of downtown Greenville is adding another new business.
Mill City Pizza will be both a dining and a retail experience, with the latter offering high-quality wines, olive oil, flour, cheeses, local produce and some Italian products.
The inspiration for the restaurant-market came to owners Jason Donnelly and John Shepherd after a recent trip to Italy.
Donnelly and Shepherd are chef-entrepreneurs. Shepherd owns multiple food-focused businesses. Donnelly founded The American Cheese Company, a distributor of artisanal cheeses.
Guests can look forward to a menu featuring pizza, panini, in-house desserts and fresh mozzarella made daily. The restaurant will have a curated bar component serving beers, wines and wine cocktails.
