South Carolina Research Authority (SCRA), a public, nonprofit corporation that works to fuel the state’s innovation economy, announced June 7 it has awarded a $50,000 acceleration grant to Prewrite Inc.
The Greenville-based start-up offers a story development platform for writers, producers and content creators.
SCRA also awarded a $50,000 federal matching grant to Glycopath Inc. and welcomed the Charleston-based startup as a member company.
As a member company, it will receive:
- Coaching.
- Access to experts in SCRA’s Resource Partner Network.
- Eligibility to apply for grant funding.
- Consideration for an investment from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch Inc.
