Stono Group, a Charleston-based development firm specializing in industrial and commercial properties, continues to expand its holdings in the Upstate with the February acquisition of a warehouse in Easley.
The 19,400-square-foot facility at 807 Sheffield Road has been leased to JMMS Inc., a manufacturer specializing in thermoplastic injection molding and die cast tooling. This marks the third property added to Stono’s Upstate holdings in the past year as part of the firm’s investments in the rapidly growing market, according to Stono Group Partner Kevin Hann.
The company acquired a 21,300-square-foot industrial facility at 427 McNeely Road in Powdersville in January 2025. The three-building complex on 7.6 acres was subsequently leased to QSM Inc., a manufacturer of stainless steel valves and automation technologies.
In June 2025, the firm also acquired a 10,415-square-foot industrial outdoor storage facility at 1400 Piedmont Highway, just south of the Interstate 85/185 interchange. After investing in capital improvements, Stono leased the property to SiteOne Landscape Supply.
Hann said these acquisitions reflect his team’s recognition of the area’s growth potential, based in part on easy access to transportation and distribution infrastructure.
