Alupress LLC, an automotive die casting components manufacturer, announced Dec. 14 it will invest nearly $26 million to expand its Laurens facility.
The investment will add 3,000 square feet to the 114 Hunter Industrial Park Road facility and is expected to create 64 jobs.
“Alupress is very pleased to formally announce its expansion plans for our Laurens facility,” said Alupress headquarters CEO Oliver Janz. “It is with great excitement and proof-positive of our continued commitment to Laurens County that we announce these plans which have been facilitated by our growth in the automotive industry over the past 12 years.”
The expansion is expected to be complete in the fourth quarter of 2028.
