Kelley Engineering, a custom automation equipment premier designer and manufacturer, will invest $6 million investment to expand its Anderson County operations, the company announced April 14.
The investment is expected to create 80 jobs as Kelley Engineering works to expand its build-to-print manufacturing operations at 1709 Easley Highway in Pelzer. The expansion is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2023.
“We are excited about this next chapter for Kelley Engineering,” said Kelley Engineering CEO Matt Kelley. “This latest expansion will give us a combined 82,000 square feet which will allow us to expand our manufacturing and automation capabilities. Growing up in Anderson County, I knew this was an awesome community to raise a family, but I have also seen how great it is to grow a business. It is easy to buy a building and equipment, but the people you hire are what make a company great.”
