A new development — “Pelham Exchange” — might be in the offing near Pelham Road on Beacon Drive.
The plans from Reedy River Retail at SVN Blackstream, Central Realty Holding, Seamon Whiteside and McMillan Pazdan Smith are still in the early stages, however, and no formal applications have yet been submitted to the city. Those plans would then have to meet with city approval before any physical work can begin on the site.
But here’s what the development is planning so far:
- Location: 3558 Beacon Dr.
- Number of buildings: Six, ranging between ±2,600 and ±7,000 square feet.
- Additional features: Lawn, playground, stage for outdoor entertainment, and a dog park.
- Tenants: Retail, multiple restaurants and a beer garden.
- Development timeline if approved: Estimated 12-24 months.
