Colliers announced Dec. 9 that Building A at The Cubes at Fort Prince industrial park on Spartanburg’s Fort Prince corridor has been leased.
The 1.5-million-square foot building, which is adjacent to Walmart’s future 720,000-square-foot refrigerated distribution center on Fort Prince Boulevard, is under construction and expected to be complete by June 2022. Its features include:
- 40-foot clear heights
- Cross-dock orientation
- On-site trailer parking
- An office to-suit
The unnamed lessee plans to use the space to expand its Southeast distribution footprint.
“The lease announcement at The Cubes at Fort Prince comes at a time of prolific industrial activity in the Greenville-Spartanburg market,” said Colliers vice president Garrett Scott. “The roster of industrial users, developers and investors who have landed here the past year indicates that companies attracted to our region are bigger in size and scope than ever before, and CRG has positioned itself to meet these needs as a go-to developer for big-box in the Upstate.”
In addition to Building A, CRG plans to build two more buildings: a 500,400-square-foot “Building B” and a 345,600-square-foot “Building C” in the park.
This development is CRG’s third industrial facility developed in the Upstate consisting of more than 1.3 million square feet under one roof.
CRG also holds several land positions near the Inland Port for future speculative and build-to-suit projects including The Cubes at Inland Woods, a 467,200-square-foot spec industrial building on Woods Chapel Road in Greer, which is expected to break ground early 2022 and deliver in 2023.
