The owners of Tacos and Bla Bla Bla and Mr. Jalepeno are gearing up to introduce an upscale Mexican restaurant concept to the Upstate.
NIXTAMAL Mexican Kitchen will take over the former La Fogata location in Simpsonville once the space undergoes an upfit and painting to tone down the interior colors, said Tacos and Bla Bla Bla Chief Operating Officer Phil Watts.
The restaurant is expected to open April 24 and will offer a variety of menu items including typical Mexican food such as tacos and enchiladas, as well as steak and seafood.
NIXTAMAL Mexican Kitchen will also expand in 2023 to include locations in Fountain Inn and Greer.
