A new hotel and luxury residential tower from Kimpton Hotels & Residences will be opening in downtown Greenville’s West End.
The hotel, which will rise six stories above the corner of North Markley and Rhett streets, will feature 134 hotel rooms and suites, a second-story pool deck, and event and meeting space. In addition to hotel space, the building is carving out 56,000-square-feet of luxury residential space with 25 two-, three-, and four-bedroom residences.
Construction has yet to begin, but upon completion, the hotel will also feature multiple food and beverage offerings, including a basement brewery and tap room, ground-level restaurants, lobby coffee shop and an indoor and outdoor rooftop bar and restaurant.
“Creative, well-crafted restaurant and bars is key,” said Dan Collins, founding partner with Collins & Fine Group, which is handling the real estate offering of the project. “All of this will be topped off with your rooftop venue.”
Concepts for the food venues are still in the works and will be revealed in the near future, Collins said.
The new hotel, which has yet to be formally named, marks the fourth hotel from California-based Kimpton Hotels in the Carolinas, following Kimpton locations in Asheville, Charlotte and Winston-Salem.
