Dodson Dig Co. is closing its doors at the end of April.
The authentic and unique finds store at 427 Wade Hampton Blvd. in Greenville made the announcement on social media March 28.
The post read: “We opened The Shoppe to see a dream come true and we did it! We are proud of what we established in Greenville. We are especially proud that our kids had a front-row seat to some of life’s most amazing lessons. Together, as a family, we transformed this little no-name corner into our corner. We opened walls, and stained floors, and saw a vision come alive. We rolled up our sleeves and worked hour after hour and we poured in long nights and even longer days. We did it together. We were able to create a space for Nathan to do his thing and a spot to showcase the most amazing and rarest finds. Nathan’s knack for digging for the most authentic items is a true gift. We created a destination. Our growing boys (family and friends) have seen over the years us creating something from nothing, staying true to our passion, and what real hard work looks like. We hold our heads high because those are life lessons worth going for! As we close the doors at the end of April Join us on April 19, 6-9 p.m. and April 27, 9-4 p.m. for sales. Our 6,000 square foot building is full of nostalgic finds, displays, lighting, furniture, fixtures, shelves, office items and more which we will be offloading so bid and dig! Once our doors close, you can continue to follow our Instagram @dodsondigco and Etsy https://dodsondigco.etsy.com for authentic finds. Nathan will continue doing what he loves, one unique find at a time.”
The store has been open almost eight years.
