Ricky’s Drive-In West at 497 E. Blackstock Road in Spartanburg announced its closure on social media. It’s last day is June 19. It is known for its plates, sandwiches, soft serve ice cream, chili and hot dogs.
“Thank you so much for supporting us since 1962,” the post read. “You are all a part of our family. It’s time for Ricky’s to say goodbye. Our last day will be Thursday, June 19th. Hopefully, we will get to see many of you before we leave.”
The post also added that another restaurant will open in its place but did not note what the next restaurant will be. The owners could not be reached for details nor comment
