ZF Chassis Systems Duncan, a leading supplier of chassis systems, modules and assemblies, is investing $55.4 million to expand operations at its Spartanburg County facility, the company announced Sept. 23.
The expansion to a new 477,360-square-foot facility located at 171 International Park Drive west of Spartanburg, is expected to create 30 new jobs. The facility provides axle system assembly and logistics services to a leading, global car manufacturer.
The expansion will allow for scaled-up production and increased annual output of the company’s precision axle assemblies and operations are expected to be online by September 2027.
The Coordinating Council for Economic Development awarded a $100,000 Set-Aside grant to Spartanburg County to assist with the costs of building improvements.
