Liberty Fellowship announced Dec. 13 it chose five Upstate leaders as part of its 21 member Class of 2025.
The leaders participating in the 18-month-long program include:

- George Campbell, partner of Campbell Teague LLC and general partner of Broad Street Group – Greenville
- Bern DuPree, director of Furman Capitol Advisors and shareholder of NAI Earle Furman – Greenville
- Maurie Lawrence, vice president of sustainability and associate general counsel of Milliken & Co. – Spartanburg
- Neetu Patel, vice president of Sycamore Investment Group – Greenville
- Allen Smith, president and CEO of OneSpartanburg Inc.

- Gillian Zettler, founder of G. Zettler Collective – Mount Pleasant
All participants were selected from a pool of more than 400 nominees and interviewed twice. Each person also had to complete five multi-day seminars in South Carolina and abroad and individual leadership projects.
“Leaders operate in a continually changing landscape and are required to respond swiftly to market forces,” said Ann Marie Stieritz, president and CEO of Liberty Fellowship and a Fellow from the Class of 2016. “This group of dynamic leaders will be a wonderful addition to our global and statewide networks who work together to foster collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth.”
In addition to being a part of the fellowship program, each participant will become a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, which is a worldwide community of more than 3,500 high-integrity, entrepreneurial leaders from business, government and the nonprofit sector in more than 60 countries.
