A new sushi bar and Japanese restaurant has opened its doors in downtown Greenville.
Konnichiwa, a new concept specializing in Japanese sushi, steak, seafood and more, has just opened its doors in the former Rick Erwin’s Deli location at 101 Fall Park Drive.
The restaurant is the second brick-and-mortar location of Konnichiwa, a concept out of Charlotte, NC, which also operates smaller popup operations across the Carolinas.
Konnichiwa bills itself as a “contemporary” sushi establishment that pays tribute to classical Japanese sushi tradition while expanding its reach to include more unique creations.
Diners can expect a menu that includes everything from yellowtail crudo to octopus, bacon-wrapped scallops to jalapeño poppers, soft shell crab rolls to egg rolls, along with more familiar items like tuna rolls, California rolls, rainbow rolls and more.
The expansive menu also includes ramen, habachi bowls, catering platters and seasonal items.
Konnichiwa is open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
