Vertiv, an Ohio-based digital infrastructure supplier, announced March 24 the expansion of its manufacturing operations in Anderson County.
Anand Sanghi, president of Americas at Vertiv, said the Anderson County expansion is the latest step in the company’s continued capacity expansion to meet the growing needs of customers across North America. Vertiv specializes in manufacturing digital infrastructure for data centers, communication networks and commercial/industrial facilities.
“The strategic locations in Anderson County, combined with our existing operations in the region, position us well to serve the increasing needs of AI and high-performance computing infrastructure,” Sanghi said.
The new facilities in Anderson County will add approximately 560,000 square feet of manufacturing space, bringing the company’s total facility footprint in the region to more than one million square feet.
Approximately 800 new jobs including electricians, engineers and project managers are expected to be created as part of the expansion. Tommy Haughton, senior director of operations for the Anderson County facilities, said Vertiv is excited to welcome new team members who can grow their careers as the company expands its operations.
“With hands-on training and a great support team, we make every effort to ensure new hires feel confident and ready to succeed at Vertiv,” Haughton said.
