- 1 million visitors came through Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport
- 68% of visitors were from out-of-state
- Hotel revenue was more than $295 million, a 32% increase year-over-year
- Average daily hotel room rate was $111, a 16% increase year-over
- Visitors spent more than $1.5 billion and contributed more than $34 million in tax revenue
When looking at hotels paying the city of Greenville’s accommodation tax, revenue per available room has also seen a 21% increase year-over-year and 10% increase when compared to 2019:
- July 2018-March 2019 – $92
- July 2021-March 2022 – $83
- July 2022-March 2023 – $101
As of April 2023, the city is expected to generate RevPar income from 5,314 hotel rooms.
