Four new restaurants have been confirmed for the County Square redevelopment on the south side of downtown Greenville.
The four announced tenants are:
- Mama’s Comfort Food & Cocktails, a California-based business that serves food “just like mama would make it.”
- CRÚ Food & Wine Bar, a Texas-based wine tasting experience offering over 40 wines by the glass and over 300 wines by the bottle. The County Square location will be the first in South Carolina.
- Leo’s Italian Social, which will bring full Italian entrees, a wine bar and Italian street food.
- MOA Korean Barbecue, an Asian-fusion concept bringing with it Korean barbecue, poke bowls and chicken katsu.
The four restaurants join several other previously announced tenants, which include Whole Foods, JINYA Ramen Bar and Agave Bandido, among others.
The announcement was made by the developer, RocaPoint Partners, which began redevelopment work in 2017. The project picked up pace in 2023 after Greenville County’s government offices moved into a new administrative building along Church Street.
The billion-dollar, 40-acre redevelopment along University Ridge will include a mix of commercial, retail and residential buildings connected more directly to downtown Greenville. Infrastructure work and site preparation is currently underway.
