Hartness urban village and the culinary minds behind The 05 and The 07 have teamed up to announce a new restaurant concept The one 5 at Hartness, set to open in Hartness in May.
The one 5 at Hartness will include a full bar with lunch and dinner offerings served at the former Village Kitchen location. Located in the community’s Village Center at 2000 Society Street, Village Kitchen permanently closed March 5.
The one 5 at Hartness brings together owners of The 05 (Augusta Road) and The 07 (Laurens Road), and former Hall’s Chophouse Executive Chef Nelson De Hoyos.
“We are excited to announce not only a new location but that we have joined forces with our dear friends the Hartness family,” said Geno Iozzino, co-owner of The 05 and The 07. “Our niche at The 05 is bringing the feel of a cozy neighborhood bar and restaurant to surrounding residences while serving fresh and unique dishes accompanied by handcrafted cocktails. There is no better neighborhood than Hartness to bring our concept to, giving the community and Greenville’s Eastside a new restaurant to frequent.”
The one 5 at Hartness will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and from 11:00 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
No specific opening date has been announced, but the owners are aiming to open in May.
New Hartness brands
The new restaurant marks another hospitality offering anticipated to open at Hartness in 2023, with the Patterson Kitchen + Bar and The Captain already set to open in Hotel Hartness on March 1.
Patterson Kitchen + Bar will serve American food with influence from both Southern and international cuisines, while The Captain, a barn wood-clad bar, will offer craft cocktails, wine and light snacks.
“To expand our growing community’s offerings and complement Hotel Hartness and its venues, we found Geno and Anmar to be the perfect partners as we transition to a new concept for the VK,” said Hartness Development CEO Sean Hartness. “The 05 brand aligns with our vision for a vibrant Village Center and new neighborhood gathering place and we gladly welcome The o5 team to Hartness.”
