Here’s a recap of the September Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) meeting.
Approved: Self-service storage on Falls Street
A self-service storage located at 320 Falls Street was approved by the BZA at this month’s meeting. The applicant, CAP Camperdown Retail LLC, proposed a special exception to operate the storage space in a central business district.

The space has been vacant for over two years and would fill a storage need for apartments and hotels nearby, like the AC Hotel for example. The applicant also assured the board that storage items, like chairs and tables for conventions from the hotel, would not be visible from the site.
The BZA found that the storage site would be consistent with the Greenville 2040 Comprehensive Plan.
