Del Webb Greenville announced Feb. 5 it broke ground on its first active adult, 55-plus community in the Upstate.
“The groundbreaking ceremony marks the commencement of a community that will define the expectations of 55-plus living in the Upstate,” said Chad Plunkett, Greenville division president for PulteGroup, the company under which Del Webb is a brand. “Del Webb is not just building new homes; we are crafting an unmatched lifestyle experience for active adults in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.”
Located at 200 Ranch Road in Greenville, the 209-acre community for individuals ages 55 years and older will feature 434 single-family homes with a choice of 1,300-square-foot to 2,200-square-foot floor plans spread over one level with an optional second floor. Homeowners may also opt to add lofts and sunrooms to their homes.
The development’s amenities will include a 9,000-square-foot clubhouse with a fitness studio, grand ballroom and meeting/event space, as well as an outdoor pool and sun deck, and pickleball and bocce courts.
Del Webb Greenville’s first community sales center is expected to open in spring 2025. For more information, visit delwebb.com.
