The Upstate’s premier startup showcase returns for its eighth year this fall and has expanded to two days, Sept. 12-13.
The NEXT Venture Summit brings together entrepreneurs, funders and area experts through a series of networking events, breakout sessions and workshops.
The event kicks off Sept. 12 with Investor Match day, which will offer startups the chance to send up to two representatives to 20-minute “speed dates” with potential compatible investors. Startups must meet certain criteria to be eligible.
This year’s venture summit will feature a dedicated lounge area where participants can gather between sessions and forge new connections with other entrepreneurs and investors.
Summit Sessions, the centerpiece of the Venture Summit, will take place Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the Greenville ONE Center starting at 9 a.m. The sessions will feature talks from a variety of founders, funders and other successful entrepreneurs sharing their experiences and insights.
