Rick Erwin Dining Group is growing again.
The company announced Oct. 10 it will open The Vista, a restaurant and bar, at 2017 Augusta St. in Greenville, the former location of The Burrow.
The Vista is expected to open in late October.
Ahead of its opening, the restaurant, which is named after the city’s historic Alta Vista neighborhood, is undergoing some decor changes, such as adding a map of the Augusta Road area on the wall to acknowledge the neighborhood, as well as its history and the families who live there.
“This will be a neighborhood restaurant and bar, much like our Eastside and Clemson locations,” said Rick Erwin Dining Group Owner and Chief Financial Officer Michael Ivey. “You will still get the same level of quality and excellence you’ve come to expect from us, but this is not a fine dining establishment and you won’t see any white tablecloths here.”
The Vista will offer dinner service Tuesday through Saturday and brunch on Sunday. Its menu will include:
- Deviled eggs
- Fried green tomatoes
- Crispy calamari
- Rotisserie chicken
- Seared tuna
- Crab cakes
The restaurant will be managed by Adam Hester, who has more than 20 years of experience in upscale dining and will serve as general manager., as well as Executive Chef Crawford Campbell, who has served as executive sous chef at Rick Erwin’s Eastside.
